A retreat for 15 families raising children with disabilities was held August 24-28.
The theme of the retreat was “Mission Possible.”
We tried to show how the Lord changes our plans, the plans of people in the Bible, and can also change the plans of these families. It can be confusing and not immediately clear, but God’s plan for us is always best. We just have to try to trust!
We are glad that these families had the opportunity to relax while swimming in the lake, visiting the Rivne Zoo, enjoying delicious food and aromatic coffee, receiving spa treatments, creating beauty with their own hands during art therapy and enjoying nature. They had the opportunity to reevaluate their lives and return home with joy!
We sincerely thank the volunteers from Fimiam, New Life, Salvation and Word of Life churches in Lutsk as well as from churches in Rivne and Zvyagel.
We are thankful to Agape Ukraine and the support of Joni and Friends. We thank each participant of the retreat for the time spent together.
